About Me

Who am I?

I’m an author, a boat captain, and a photographer. But I would bet that you’re probably here because of that last part. Well, here’s a little bit about my photographic past.

I first learned photography at the turn of the millennium, running around Camden, SC with an old Canon AE-1 film camera. A humble beginning that I’m quite happy to have had. Later on I relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida and traveled for work and pleasure in my 20s I shot more and more, solidifying my love of the craft.

But life got busy as it tends to do, and for quite a while my focus changed from photography to the sea and writing, two passions I continue with today. Luckily my love of photography quickly came roaring back and a camera has rarely left my hand sinc
